Build Your October Plan

On page 3, total the money available, subtract fixed commitments (page 4) and savings (page 5), and split what is left across the four categories.

Mark Up the Calendar

Add paydays, bill dates and any plans that will cost money on the October calendar.

Log Spending Each Week

Record every purchase on that week's log with its category, and set a weekly limit at the top.

Pause at the End of Each Week

Total each category and note what felt worthwhile and what you would change.

Close the Month

On page 12, compare planned and actual spending, work out the unallocated balance and write one change for November.
