How to Use This Template

1

Download and Print

Print all 12 pages at actual size on A4, or fit to page on US Letter. Grayscale works fine.

2

Build Your November Plan

On page 3, total the money available, subtract fixed commitments (page 4) and savings (page 5), and split what is left across the four categories.

3

Mark Up the Calendar

Add paydays, bill dates and any November plans that will cost money, like Thanksgiving, Black Friday sales or birthdays, and give each a spending limit.

4

Log Spending Each Week

Record every purchase on that week's log with its category, and set a weekly limit at the top.

5

Pause at the End of Each Week

Total each category and note what felt worthwhile and what you would change.

6

Close the Month

On page 12, compare planned and actual spending, work out the unallocated balance and write down what to change for December.
